"We visited The Swan on Sunday 9th June, hoping we could try the Sunday roast. What an absolute delight. I understand from the very friendly and efficient staff, that they have only been open one month, under new ownership, after a major re-fit. The roast sirloin was beautifully pink, the potatoes and vegetables perfect. There were other options, ie pork. The dessert choice was imaginative and beautifully presented. A two course offering for £19 was superb value. We had dessert, but there were great options for a starter, instead of a sweet. I recommend this place totally."
"We went to retry the restaurant since it has been taken over, the staff were friendly, welcoming and very efficient. Food came promptly and was every thing it promised and more. The chips were the best I have tasted for a long while and the batter was crisp, thin and tasty as was the fish. The desert was even better.Cant wait to go back to try more. What an improvement!"
